MCSE is a prominent Microsoft certification program which focuses on upgrading the recognition and skills of the professional or prospective network system engineers. MCSE stands for The Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer.

This certification is designed for IT professionals who work in complex computing environments of medium-sized and large organizations. An appropriate candidate should possess with at least one to two years of experience in designing, installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network systems.

Those who have completed the MCSE certification on Windows Server 2003 can upgrade their certification to the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) and Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) on Windows Server 2008.

The experts say that the demand for skills and knowledge of Windows Server 2000 and 2003 will continue for many years. To earn the MCSE on Windows Server 2000 or 2003 certification, the candidates must pass a set of exams on networking systems, client operating systems and design.
